I have always been interested in comic books and the people who make them. I once even aspired to break into the field, though that didn't work out for me (despite a couple of failed opportunities -- one with a major publisher and the other with a tiny independent publisher). Anyway, I came across
this tumblr blog article featuring some images from 2009 of the Archie Comics offices. I was a little surprised. I always had images of high-rise offices on bustling New York City streets in my head. The reality is that while the street might indeed be bustling (it's hard to tell), the actual office and creative space is much more modest. It's kind of cool seeing where some of my favorite comic books are published.
