Earlier today, New Hampshire House Republicans attempted to roll back that state's marriage equality law. And they failed. Badly.
First, I really enjoyed this MSNBC discussion between NOM's Brian Brown and Stand Up for New Hampshire's Thomas Roberts. You have to watch this clip to believe it. Brown complained for the start about out-of-state forces that pumped money into New Hampshire to influence legislators to approve marriage equality (Brown and NOM are from New Jersey). Brown predicted that this effort to repeal marriage equality in New Hampshire would pass by a wide enough margin to easily overcome a gubernatorial veto. He was wrong. Check it out:
The final bill to repeal New Hampshire's two-year-old marriage equality law was defeated by a vote of 211 to 116!
