Think You Know Everything About Squirrel Girl? Find Out Her Many Tails in UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL #5!

Did you read THE UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL #5, which was published last week? It features a group of people -- including Squirrel Girl's new BFF Nancy Whitehead -- who are stuck in the Statue of Liberty's head while a group of superheroes battle a bunch of robotic dinosaurs. Everyone is gushing around Iron Man or the new Thor, but Nancy is best friends with one of America's greatest unsung heroes and she wants everyone to know about her: Squirrel Girl!

*Cue the crickets...*

This leads to a series of short stories as people reveal their own personal Squirrel Girl stories. For example, an old lady shares a story from her childhood -- from the 1950s -- when Squirrel Girl and Captain America were partners against the growing menace of communism!

Confused? So was Nancy!

What follows is a fascism-fueled farce against an obviously brainwashed Cap by a beguiling young vixen known as Bass Lass! It came down to Squirrel Girl to diagnose the nature behind Captain America's odd behavior and save the day!

This was followed by another Squirrel Girl recollection, which revealed her rivalry with the All-American Red Squirrel -- AKA Squirrel Girl's clone!

And then there was the revelation by one guy that Squirrel Girl is a time-traveling super-agent who uses her future knowledge to remain unbeatable!

These silly tales continue for the rest of the story until the dinosaurs are eventually defeated and the civilians are all freed by Squirrel Girl (and Spider-Man and the Avengers, etc.).

Seriously folks, you really need to be reading this comic book. It's humorous and clever and action-paced. It's everything that you should want in a comic book!

UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL #5 is written by Ryan North, with art by Erica Henderson, colors by Rico Renzi & Erica Henderson, and letters by VC's Clayton Cowles.
