"Honey Boo Boo's" Uncle Poodle & Partner Alan Plan to Legally Marry in Georgia

Radar Online posted an article announcing that Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is planning to marry his partner Alan Steveson. This isn't entirely news. The guys have been talking about being engaged for months. Heck, they had a commitment ceremony -- officiated by Mama June Shannon -- during the final unaired season of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

The big difference now is that the US Supreme Court ruled last month in favor of nationwide same-sex marriage. So Lee and Alan -- who'd been off-and-on searching for out of state wedding venue options -- have now announced that they plan to get married in Georgia, which had previously been a marriage inequality state:
RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Southern lovebirds and uncles to pint-sized former pageant queen Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 9, are planning their dream ceremony.

“They want to get married on Jeckyll Island,” a source close to the couple tells Radar, referring to the popular beach destination in their native Georgia. “They envision saying their vows beneath the famous Spanish moss-covered trees.”
According to Facebook, Lee and Alan are still working on details. I'm not even sure that they have a wedding date yet.

Radar reports that they want another reality TV personality -- such as Caitlyn Jenner or Snooki -- to officiate at the wedding. Personally, I think they could do better.

Congrats, guys!
