"Honey Boo Boo" House to be Demolished

(Originally written on 09/27/15): Remember this house? It's "Honey Boo Boo Estates," where Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson lived with her family. It was featured on TLC's now-canceled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." The family has since moved away for greener pastures -- as well as someplace that doesn't have train tracks outside the backdoor!

I wrote back in June that the house's owners were trying to sell the house for $45,000. But it doesn't appear that people want to pay that much money for that house. Plus, it seems that you're only buying the house and not the land, which is reportedly owned by the railroad company.

I heard last night that they might be tearing down the house! Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson is trying to confirm the details, but it makes sense. The house needs work and it's right next to train tracks. If nobody want to purchase it, maybe there can be better uses for the land.

I will keep my eye on this story. It will be interesting if the house ends up getting demolished.

Updated on 09/28/15: TMZ confirmed yesterday that the Honey Boo Boo House will indeed to demolished today. There are plans for a new construction project.
