"My Cat From Hell" Teams Up With "Pit Bulls & Paroles" This Weekend!

Are you a fan of Animal Planet's "My Cat from Hell?" How about "Pit Bulls & Parolees?" Good news! Not only do new episodes of each program premier this Saturday, but it looks like the reality personalities from each program will team up for an adventure in Bayou Corne, LA!

Actually, I'm unsure from the material that I saw if this is a new episode of "Pit Bulls & Parolees." The online clip has the logo for "PB&P," but Animal Planet's Facebook page only references the new episode of "My Cat from Hell."

Regardless, cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy will be teaming with pit bull rescuer Tia Torres to see if they can rescue 38 feral cats from the abandoned community of Bayou Corne, LA! This appears to be a pit bull-free escapade. The pit bull group is currently based out of Louisiana, they specialize in animal rescues, and Jackson is all about the cats, which makes this a great opportunity to get the two shows together!

The group goes to the site of the Bayou Corne sinkhole. It appears that the sinkhole was created from a collapsed salt dome cavern. It looks like the underground salt caverns were being used by Texas Brine Company as storage reservoirs for crude oil. The sinkhole was eventually discovered in August 2012 and the area's 350 residents were advised to evacuate -- leaving 38 cats to fend for themselves!

I'm not sure how difficult it is to rescue 38 feral cats. I just know how difficult it is to coral one housebound cat when she doesn't want to be caught, so this should be a fun episode!
